Tech repair chain continues UK expansion with Bristol site

A London-headquartered tech repair chain that has ambitions to become the Timpsons for gadget repair services has continued its UK-wide expansion with a new branch in Bristol.

ISmash has opened up the new store in Broadmead shopping centre, creating five new jobs and adding to its line-up of stores outside of London, including its Manchester and Sheffield outposts which opened in July.

Offering its full range of phone and gadget repair, data recovery and trade in services, the Bristol store has also been kitted out with four technician workstations in line with its 20 other branches.

Founded in 2014 by twentysomething entrepreneur Julian Shovlin with its initial store on the King’s Road, the brand has continued to expand with units targeting high footfall locations in the capital and other UK cities.

Julian Shovlin, founder and managing director of iSmash, said: “After a successful initial launch in London, we knew the logical place to take iSmash was to influential cities across the UK.

“Opening at Bristol’s Broadmead, right in the heart of the city, means we can help the community with our express repair service by the UK’s most experienced tech repair technicians.”
