Park Place Technologies' largest acquisition has just been made with NCE Group
Park Place Technologies (PPT) has acquired NCE Group Limited (NCE) today (August 8), a global provider of third-party data centre maintenance and repair. The figure was not disclosed.
However, this will substantially increase PPT’s global client portfolio and European presence, with the company’s plan to begin immediate operation integrations, employing more than 280 new staff members.
The deal also marks the company’s sixth acquisition in the past year, which is now responsible for over 30k data centers and 9,000 customers in over 100 countries.
Ed Kenty, chairman and CEO of Park Place, commented: “NCE has provided exceptional services and deep product knowledge for more than 35 years… We’re excited to leverage its unique experience and leadership as we further expand our capabilities and service to support our customers.”
Acquiring NCE will give PPT faster response times and efficiencies for consumers including education, government and healthcare institutions. Since 1981, NCE has serviced customers across both the US and UK across various industries.
Andrew Genever, former CEO of NCE and newly appointed vice-president at PPT, said: “As we join Park Place, we will continue to provide exceptional service to our customers worldwide, while utilising the company’s broad expertise.”
PPT’s president and chief operating officer, Chris Adams, was very pleased at this latest acquisition, commenting: “Through this, we are solidifying Park Place’s market position as the largest global data center maintenance provider.
“We are expanding our footprint into additional European markets and adding talent to the industry to support our growing customer base and enrich the customer experience.”
