Tees Valley Business Compass moves to boost supplier support
Tees Valley Business Compass has announced it will hold a free event later this month, designed to give companies supplying small businesses in the region the help they need to grow.
The event will inform companies from Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees how their clients can access funding of up to 33% towards the value of the projects they are engaged in.
Tees Valley Business Compass is the local growth hub, with the Supplier event the latest announcement in an ongoing programme of events designed to stimulate economic growth.
Help is available from developing marketing strategies and getting business online to business process review and re-engineering, strategy and succession planning and overseas development.
Shak Asghar, Growth Service Manager of Tees Valley Business Compass said: “There is more help out there for businesses than people often assume, and while we work hard to make sure as many companies as possible know what is available, we’re always looking for innovative ways to reach out.
“This event helps us to do just that, by speaking directly to the suppliers of the businesses that we aim to assist.
“This shows that business support goes beyond the companies being directly supported and adds value to their supply chains and the wider Tees Valley economy.”
The event is being held on August 24th at Uno Momento Restaurant, on Middlesbrough’s Linthorpe Road, between 17:30 and 19:30.
