Wirral retail park at full capacity with Pure Gym primed for September launch
Oak Furniture Land and Pure Gym are the latest businesses to take space at the Junction One Retail Park, based in Wallasey, Wirral.
Owned by The Derwent Group, the Park is now at full business capacity after Oak Furniture Land signed at Unit 8 (9,907 sq ft) and the final Unit 9 of 7,201 sq ft has been let to Pure Gym.
The deals mean the two firms join the likes of Marks & Spencer Foodhall, Aldi, Home Bargains and Pets at Home at the site.
Pure Gym will open this September, its first Wirral branch and Oak Furniture Land is now trading.
The Derwent Group is an Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation Trust company which is estimated to be worth around £700m.
The group’s portfolio extends to 3m sq ft (278,709 sq m), split between industrial property (300,000 sq ft), offices (400,000 sq ft), retail (1.7m sq ft) and leisure (500,000 sq ft).
James Maule-Ffinch, Senior Asset Manager at Derwent said: “Junction One Retail Park is just one of a number of retail schemes that The Derwent Group owns in the region and each is contributing to our aspiration of reaching our £50m turnover target.
“It’s also great to be chosen by Pure Gym as its first Wirral operation which will give the park healthy night time activity.”
