Investec has been awarded a new contract from ISG for a new London office
ISG, a global constructions company, has been awarded a contract to fit out a new 135,000 sq-ft office for Investec on London’s Gresham Street.
Investec, a specialist bank and asset management company, currently occupies two floors of the building at 30 Gresham Street. The new fit will see the business move into the fourth, fifth and sixth floors as well as the lower ground.
Matt Blowers, managing director of UK Fit Out, ISG, commented: “This latest win reflects the strength of ISG in the London office market. Demand for premium office space remains at a high level across London as organisations seek high-specification facilities in optimum locations.
“Investec is providing collaborative, modern working environments designed to attract and retain the best employees.”
This project involves fully stripping out and fitting existing floors, including the installation of an atrium staircase from levels four to eight. ISG has used 3D modelling to identify the logistics to install the feature staircase.
There are intentions to include internal meeting and video conference rooms as well as refreshment hubs, which will include general open plan workspace.
The project is expected to be complete in May 2018.
