Data and cloud firm expands Manchester connectivity following six-figure fibre deal
Data centre and cloud provider euNetworks has joined forces with Manchester fibre network, The Loop, to expand connectivity services for business across Manchester’s main commercial district.
The London-headquartered bandwidth infrastructure firm signed a six-figure deal with The Loop to provide a new network in the city which would see it expanding its reach into Manchester and expand its Europe-wide capacity.
The Loop’s network provides businesses with connections to all of Manchester’s main datacentres and connects areas including Manchester city centre, Manchester Science Park and MediaCityUK, along with other key buildings in the city.
Ashley Griffith, managing director of The Loop said that the expanded fibre network was ‘great news’ for Manchester and a ‘fantastic endorsement’ for the firm’s fibre network, with the agreement serving to expand its network by more than a kilometer and provide a more resilient connection to Salford-based data centre Datacentred.
He added: “It’s great to work with euNetworks to provide parts of this important network development for Manchester. euNetworks is a bandwidth infrastructure company that continues to support the growing connectivity requirements of businesses both in the UK and across Europe.
“They are a great compliment to The Loop’s activity in Manchester, with an impressive approach to supporting their customer’s demands.”
