Taylor&Emmet bags chance to defend award title
The conveyancing experts at Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP are one of six teams from across the county in the running for a prestigious legal accolade.
The firm has been shortlisted in the Yorkshire Legal Awards’ residential property category for a second time, after emerging victorious last year.
Taylor&Emmet will not only be defending its title, but also representing Sheffield, as it is the only finalist from the city. The winner will be decided by a panel of legal specialists and announced at a black-tie awards dinner, held at New Dock Hall in Leeds on October 12.
To make the shortlist, the firm had to demonstrate achievement in the practice area, dedication and recognition from clients and its contribution to the local community.
Neil Riley, a partner in Taylor&Emmet’s residential property team, said: “We are thrilled to, once again, make the finals of the Yorkshire Legal Awards and to be representing our home city. Our success last year was due entirely to the hard work and commitment of every member of our department, ensuring we deliver the best possible customer experience. This year’s nomination recognises a continued ability perform at the highest level.”
