Louis Rouvrais named as site manager for Barratt’s new Whitchurch development

Barratt Homes has appointed Louis Rouvrais as site manager for its White Church Court development - a brand new community set in Whitchurch on the outskirts of Bristol.

Louis moves from the five star housebuilder’s popular Autumn Brook development and will oversee construction at the site, working closely with all those involved in the process. He says one of his priorities is to help and guide local apprentices as they begin their careers.

Louis started his career as an apprentice bricklayer and was Bristol Apprentice of the Year. He said the training gave him the perfect grounding for his role as a site manager.

“The Barratt apprenticeship was superb and gave me a great start for my career,” he said. “It not only gave me a trade qualification but has taught me terrific life skills as well.”

Barratt construction director Tony Palmer added: “We think very carefully when appointing site managers for our new developments because they are crucial to the success of these important new communities.

Louis has skills and experience to deliver homes of the quality our buyers have come to expect from us. I look forward to watching this impressive new development take shape over the coming months.“

White Church Court will feature something for everyone and is conveniently located south of Bristol with easy access into the city centre and Bath.

The area offers an array of local amenities - with shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and pubs just a short distance away.
