Northern Quarter’s PRWD Teams Up With The Landing For New Series Of UX Workshops For Ambitious Greater Manchester Start-ups And SMEs
Conversion optimisation agency PRWD, which is based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, has partnered with The Landing to lead a series of User Experience (UX) workshops over the next 12 months.
Funded by the European Regional Development Programme, an initiative designed to provide support for the growth of digital, creative and technology SME’s in Greater Manchester, PRWD will be delivering the first two-day programme next month (September 21-22).
The fully-funded training, which is free to qualifying companies, will cover a wide range of UX methodology and offer firms the chance to gain practical skills which they can utilise in their day-today business.
From basic questions such as “What is UX?” through to running your own user testing sessions in a ‘live’ UX research lab, the workshops will fully immerse participating companies into what is considered today one of the most important elements of customer engagement.
Paul Rouke, CEO of PRWD, said: “Moderated user research is still the most undervalued, misunderstood and ignored form of consumer behaviour understanding in many businesses and digital marketing agencies. Any business aspiring to become customer centric quite simply has to speak one-one with their customers.
“The Landing, with its excellent UX labs, prototyping workshop and collaborative workspaces, is the perfect environment to introduce businesses to the power and value of UX testing and we are greatly looking forward to delivering this programme to companies wanting to gain a competitive edge.”
Maya Dibley, Head of Programmes and Partnerships at The Landing, said: “Ever since The Landing first opened we have promoted the importance of user experience testing and now it is widely recognised a key part of any product or service being taken to market.
“PRWD has worked with some of the UK’s leading brands in the UX space, and any business wanting to get ahead of the pack when it comes to delivering the best possible customer experience, whether a consumer or business to business play, should hurry up and register for one of these fully-funded courses.”
