Hamburg on Tour: Germany’s second largest city hosts free pop up event in London this October

Hamburg Convention Bureau is hosting a free two day city showcase in London. Taking place at The Boiler House in Shoreditch, the Hamburg on Tour pop up event will celebrate the city’s latest venues, culture, music and food and drink. The event has a special festival focus, previewing some of the 100 festivals Hamburg hosts every year.

Visitors can take a tour of the new Elbphilharmonie concert hall via a VR headset, join a singalong Beatles Tour, or simply drop by to watch live music and enjoy authentic regional cuisine.

The free event features festival partners ELBJAZZ, Hamburg International Short Film Festival, Hanse Song Festival, Hurricane Festival, MS Dockville Festival, Reeperbahn Festival and Wacken Open Air, who will showcase their internationally renowned events through live music, art installations, interactive workshops, local food and craft beer. A new edition craft beer has been specially brewed for the event - visitors can sample and buy bottles of ‘Lütte Höög’ on the day.

Hamburg Tourist Board and other partners will also be on site to offer expert guidance on planning a trip to the happening maritime city, recently rated as one of the 50 ‘must see’ destinations by Conde Nast Traveller and ranked 10th among ‘52 Places to Go’ by the New York Times.
