Nottingham Digital Agency Selected for Prestigious Google Programme
A top performing Nottingham based digital marketing agency has completed the prestigious Google Elevator Programme, which recognises agencies for their digital prowess and growth.
The Web Design Group was one of just 30 agencies chosen from the top performing Google Partners in the UK to take part in the six-month programme at Google’s London offices.
As part of the programme the attending agencies benefitted from intensive business mentoring sessions delivered by renowned business consultant and director of the Directors Centre, Robert Craven.
One of The Web Design Group’s directors who attended the programme, Andy Morley, said: “Our agency’s growth and performance for our online marketing clients has been recognised by Google which is fantastic and a credit to our staff’s hard work.
“The potential for further growth following the Google Elevator programme to develop the business further is evident. This is coupled with our approach to data driven strategy to ensure that each client’s campaigns reach their maximum level of performance, whilst approaching each account specific to the client’s specific audience and requirements.”
Recent growth over the past 18 months has seen the agency move from offices in Ilkeston, to new premises based in Nottingham. During this period, there has been the addition of five new members of staff, with a further SEO and developer role currently being advertised.
As part of the business development currently underway a large phase of The Web Design Group’s evolution will be the rebrand to Kumo which encompasses the entire digital marketing suite of services that they deliver.
Andy said: “During the company’s infancy a large proportion of the projects undertaken were solely focussed around web design performed by a group of freelancers. As the company flourished, it has evolved in to a multi-service digital agency and requires a brand that reflects that”.
