Cable leader flies the flag for region
Leading supplier AEI Cables will fly the flag for the North East when it attends top trade events next month.
The company, which serves markets in the UK and worldwide in sectors including oil & gas, construction, fire protection, defence, mining and rail, will have a presence at leading events for both the offshore, and wind energy sectors.
AEI Cables, based in Birtley near Gateshead, will showcase its specialist expertise in products in these sectors.
The company provides cables meeting important industry standards such as NEK 606, the Norwegian marine and offshore industry technical specification, and IEC 60092, a series of international standards for electrical installations in ships and offshore facilities.
Products supplied by AEI Cables include fire resistant cables for use in power, lighting, instrumentation and control applications in what are often harsh environments.
First, AEI is exhibiting at the Offshore Europe event to be held in Aberdeen from September 5-8 when more than 50,000 attendees are expected with experts from more than 1,000 suppliers.
Then AEI will exhibit at the HUSUM Wind event which runs from September 12-15 in Husum, near Hamburg in Northern Germany.
The event will feature 650 exhibitors across 27,500 sq m, from sectors including wind turbine manufacturers, turbine operators, utility companies and safety experts.
Stuart Dover, commercial manager at AEI Cables, said: “Both offshore and energy are important sectors for AEI Cables and we will use these events to showcase our specialist products which help improve safety in some of the harshest industrial environments.
“Offshore and HUSUM will be ideal networking opportunities and a chance to hear first-hand about the latest industry developments that will shape future products.”
At HUSUM Wind, AEI Cables will be at stand 2E30, and during Offshore Europe, within the EIC pavilion on stand 3C60.
ENDS.
