Local housebuilder returns to Wetherby after 20 years

Local housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, has returned to Wetherby with an award winning site team, inviting the Mayor to open its first development in the area in 20 years.

Councillor Norma Harrington, Mayor of Wetherby, visited Templars Chase last week to officially open its showhomes and celebrate David Wilson Homes’ return to the town. She was welcomed by Maggie Horgan, Sales Adviser at Templars Chase, Chris Nother, Assistant Site Manager and Gary Taylor, Contracts Manager. The return comes with an awarding winning site team, with Site Manager Mike Macnamara having received a Pride in the Job Quality Award, acting as official recognition for the excellence in which he runs his sites.

Councillor Norma Harrington commented: “I was thrilled to visit Templars Chase to officially open the new showhomes and welcome David Wilson Homes back to Wetherby! The build of new, quality homes is welcomed in the area and I’m excited to see the development take shape over the coming months. We look forward to welcoming new homeowners to Wetherby and hope they enjoy the wonderful community we have here.”

Househunters can now visit the Cannington showhome, a three bedroom home offering an open-plan kitchen, and the Holden, a family home with four bedrooms, including an en suite to the master bedroom, a walk-in glazed bay to the dining area.
