Five Common Causes of Confined Space Incidents

Working in confined spaces always has a certain risk involved. A person working in such spaces can never be sure that the current operation would be carried out successfully and is completely safe. 4. Lack of supervision

Proper monitoring and supervision of the team performing a confined space operation is important to make sure that there are no emergency situations arising. If close monitoring of a particular operation is not done, this might lead to confined space emergencies that can only be handled with confined space rescue systems.

5. Lack of complete standard operating procedures

To ensure complete safety of the employees, it is important to follow the complete standard operating procedures. This is done to ensure that the employees stay safe and secure as well as the required operation is performed without any flaw. In case, an employee missed to follow these procedures, it can lead to the confined space hazards and land the person into trouble.
