Lighthouse Group wins new contract with social work trade union
Lighthouse Group plc, a national financial adviser based in London, has announced it has agreed to a new contract with The Social Workers Union.
This contract will initially run for 18 months and Lighthouse will be the preferred provider of financial advice to members of The Social Workers Union, spanning from advice on savings to investments, pensions and protection as well as mortgages.
It will also further extend a list of affinity partnerships for Lighthouse, which includes major employee organisations such as UNISON, Unite, Prospect and the Royal College of Nursing, reflecting Lighthouse’s wide range of audiences and planning solutions.
John McGown, general secretary of The Social Workers Union, said: “We are delighted to have secured this contract with Lighthouse…
“This will allow our members access to financial planning assistance on a national basis and across a broad range of financial topics, helping them to make the most of financial planning opportunities.”
Lighthouse is an integrated financial services company for investors, and works as part of one of the UK’s largest autonomous financial advice and wealth management groups, providing a comprehensive range of services to businesses and individuals.
The Social Workers Union is a trade union which focuses on helping social work professionals and currently has around 12,000 members.
