BLUE AIR ANNOUNCE NEW FLIGHTS FOR LIVERPOOL AND EVERTON’S EUROPEAN FIXTURES
Liverpool’s newest airline, Blue Air, has announced special scheduled return flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Seville and Larnaca to ensure Liverpool and Everton supporters can make it to their European games against Sevilla and Apollon Limassol FC.
Liverpool and Everton fans can take advantage of this offer from Blue Air and enjoy a day trip abroad whilst supporting their club.
With Liverpool in action against Sevilla on 21st November, Blue Air has revealed a flight to Seville, that will depart from Liverpool John Lennon Airport at 6.30am that morning. The short flight of just two hours, leaves Red fans with plenty of time to explore Seville before the game that evening. The return flight is scheduled to bring supporters back to Liverpool on 22nd November at 1.30am.
For Everton fans planning on travelling to the Blues’ game against Apollon Limassol FC, there will be a flight departing to Larnaca in Cyprus from Liverpool John Lennon Airport on 7th December at 6am with the return flight after the match, leaving at 2.30am on 8th December.
Tudor Constantinescu, Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Air said “Liverpool John Lennon Airport has been our home since March and we have seen first-hand how passionate the locals are about their football teams. It’s an exciting time for Liverpool and Everton with both having qualified for Europe this season. We’re delighted to be able to offer these special one-off flights to ensure both sets of fans can watch their team in action.”
Paul Winfield, Air Service Development Director at Liverpool John Lennon Airport said “It has been a tremendous few months here since Blue Air arrived at Liverpool John Lennon Airport offering travellers the chance to visit more European destinations. We are excited to see Blue Air develop their offering here, and these football flights are another way the airline is showing commitment to the region and our passengers by taking them to where they want to go.”
Blue Air has been operating for over 12 years and earlier this year they became the latest airline to have a base at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Offering lower prices, more legroom and a baggage allowance of up to 32kg, the airline currently flies to 7 destinations across Europe from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
With both clubs flying the flag for the city in Europe this year, demand is expected to be high. These seats are on sale now and prices start at £98.43 one way. For more information or to book your seats, visit www.blueairweb.com
