Aviate launches short-haul and regional flight offering
Cheshire-based flight consolidator, Aviate, has expanded its offering with the launch of two new products - short-haul and regional flights – which are expected to grow revenue by over 15% in the next year.
Aviate, based in Ellesmere Port, provides a search, booking and ticketing service to the UK travel trade and in the past year, has achieved revenue of £61 million.
Traditionally a long-haul flight specialist, Aviate’s continued growth has enabled it to expand into the short-haul and regional flight markets, providing a complete, worldwide service to meet the needs of its travel partners.
The short-haul product will introduce routes to Europe, giving agents more choice when booking through Aviate. Regional flights operating from non-UK originating airports are also available.
A number of airlines have gone live with Aviate’s new products, with additional airlines set to be added as the flight consolidator continues to enhance both offerings.
Michael Edwards, managing director of Aviate, commented: “Aviate has experienced exponential growth recently so expanding our product range was a natural progression. Although traditionally a long-haul flight specialist, launching into the short-haul and regional markets means that we can now offer our partners a fully integrated, worldwide service.
“As a business, we aim to be at the forefront of innovation in the airline industry. We are committed to continually developing and expanding our product range in new and innovative ways and have a number of exciting product launches upcoming. Coupled with the growth that we’ve seen recently, it’s certainly an exciting time for Aviate.”
