JOHNS&CO heads to Hampstead Square in new luxury property development

JOHNS&CO has marketed a new collection of luxury studio one, two and three-bedroom apartments at West Hampstead Square.

The new London development is the first new build scheme of its kind to come to the area, where Victorian homes and mansion blocks are more common.

West Hampstead Square consists of seven apartment blocks, five of which have been named after famous local authors; Hardy, Orwell, Beckford, Lessing and Milne were the inspiration as all five have once lived in the area.

Walter Mythen, regional sales director at JOHNS&CO, commented: “Situated in one of London’s most accessible locations, West Hampstead provides the ideal setting for this new luxury development.

“[This] is a unique residential offering which will bring a touch of modernity and vibrancy to an area that is fast becoming a highly sought-after pocket of London.”

Every apartment has been designed with luxury in mind, and feature vintage decor which emulates the rich heritage of the surrounding area. All two and three-bedroom apartments come with a balcony as well as triple-glazing to ensure noise reduction.

West Hampstead Square is a 10-minute walk from Kilburn, and 20 minutes from Primrose Hill and Maida Vale. The development is situated between Regent’s Park and Hampstead Heath.

Furthermore, it is the latest addition to the portfolio to the Canary Wharf-based agent, founded in 2013 by MD John Morley.

Jordan Charles-Jones, lettings manager at JOHNS&CO, added: “Landlords and tenants have been drawn to West Hampstead Square for two main reasons: the location is accessible and the apartments offer style and luxury.

“We are receiving high demand for these homes from investor landlords due to the price growth potential they provide.”

Studio apartments start at £375 per week and £510k, with three-bedroom apartments going for £1.2m to buy, and penthouses for £2.1m.
