Johnson Tucker announces promotions and new recruits

Newcastle based Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants £Johnson Tucker have announced two senior promotions and two new recruitments twelve months on from celebrating its 10 year anniversary.

Gary Robinson, who leads the property management function at Johnson Tucker has been promoted to Partner. He has worked with David Johnson and Andrew Tucker since graduating from the University of Northumbria and has been involved in a number of successful projects across the North East during his time at the firm. Recently, Gary has been instructed in a property management capacity by Allendale Estates and has been integral to Johnson Tuckers growth, particularly with an increasing management workload.

Daniel Capobasso who joined Johnson Tucker in an investment agency role in 2014 has also been appointed to Partner. Daniel is an experienced Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer specialising in the acquisition and disposal of investment and development opportunities on behalf of a wide range of clients including pension funds, property companies and high net worth individuals. Recent deals include the acquisition of a multi-let retail parade in Jesmond, the sale of a multi-let office investment on Team Valley Trading Estate and a new build retail parade in Sunderland that was purchased covertly for a private client in an off-market transaction.

In addition to the appointment of experienced property management surveyor Janet Young, who joined the firm in October 2016, Johnson Tucker has announced a duo of new recruitments with the addition of Kristian Sorensen and Matthew Ternent. The firm has seen a continued growth of new instructions leading to the expansion.

Kristian and Matthew join us as Graduate Surveyors to assist across all disciplines at Johnson Tucker. Kristian brings with him specialist skills and experience in agency and valuation having previously worked for a regional Chartered Surveying firm. Kristian is working towards his RICS Assessment of Professional Competence and hopes to become a Chartered Surveyor in 2018.

Matthew, who has joined Johnson Tucker as a Residential Valuer recently graduated from the University of Northumbria University with a 1st Class Degree in Estates Management, impressively being awarded 2016 / 2017 “Student of the Year” in the process. Matthew gained property experience whilst at University carrying out part-time work for an international firm of Chartered Surveyors. He is a qualified and experienced commercial and residential property Energy Performance Assessor.

Andrew Tucker commented “It is great to be bringing new talent into Johnson Tucker.
