Leading housebuilder contributes over £120,000 to local projects in Woodmansey

Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, will contribute over £120,000 to support local projects and community improvements in and around Woodmansey as part of its newly launched Cherry Tree Court development.

The contributions will be put towards a range of facilities close to its new Cherry Tree Court site, comprising of £95,399 to outdoor sports facilities and £28,390 to offsite play spaces.

The funding highlights Barratt’s commitment to investing in the local communities where it builds. Cherry Tree Court will be building on the success of the Fallows Park development, also on the perimeter of Beverley with the site spanning 2.63 acres and delivering 44 new dwellings to meet the continuing demand for good quality homes in this area of East Riding of Yorkshire.

Peter Morris, Development Director at Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, commented: “As well as building new homes, it’s our aim to also support and enhance local communities, so we hope these contributions will go a long way towards improving the lives of people who live in Woodmansey and the surrounding area, along with those who become residents at the development. We are committed to investing in the areas in which we build and these contributions emphasise this. We are excited to see the new development taking shape over the coming months and to deliver further much needed, quality housing in the area.” Cherry Tree Court is offering a range of two, three and four bedroom homes situated in a semi-rural setting and within close proximity to local amenities.
