Plans revealed for new homes development in Yorkshire Dales village
Gregory Homes, the residential arm of Leeds developer Gregory Property Group, has acquired a two-acre site in the Nidderdale village of Dacre Banks, within the Yorkshire Dales.
The company plans to deliver a bespoke new residential scheme as part of a joint venture with Ridgefield Property.
The joint venture has secured planning consent to build 22 two, three and four bedroom family houses on the site, which was a former filling station on Church Hill.
Andrew Foggitt, development director at Gregory Homes, said: “We are pleased to acquire this site which is very much in keeping with the prestige nature of our residential portfolio. ‘Church View’ will offer a select number of prestige homes of traditional character and in keeping with the local environment.”
The joint venture plans to start development on site next week with a first reveal at the Nidderdale Show in nearby Pateley Bridge.
As part of the development, the joint venture will support the local area through Section 106 contributions.
This includes over £35k to upgrade Dacre and Hartwith Village Hall and over £8,000 contribution to outdoor sports facilities in the form of improvements to Darley Head Cricket Ground.
Properties at Church View will be released for sale early next year.
