Mobile Mini launches National Training Centre in Liverpool
Container business Mobile Mini has established a training and development facility at its base in Liverpool.
The company, which provides portable site accommodation and secure storage containers, chose its operation at Triumph Trading Park in Speke for its new National Training Centre.
Mobile Mini turned two of its own accommodation units into training space complete with high-end audio visual equipment, a seating space for up to 50 people, kitchen and toilet facilities and a parking area.
The firm said its HR director, Louise Arnold, was instrumental in bringing the National Training Centre idea to life.
Louise commented: “We were hosting meetings and training in various locations around the country which was proving costly.
“We’re looking forward to making Liverpool our home for not only training but national meetings and events too.”
She added: “Liverpool has been central to the progression of our training department and we are looking forward to welcoming all of our employees to the site and city.”
Mobile Mini employs 400 people across 16 UK branches on a turnover of £59.8m.
