Record year and a new office for Coleshill advertising agency

A leading West Midlands online advertising agency is celebrating the best year in its history by relocating to larger premises.

Candidate Source, which provides job board support to recruitment firms across the UK, has seen annual sales smash the £3.1m barrier for the first time in seven years – a 15% increase on the previous 12 months.

On the back of this growth, the company has had to relocate to larger offices, taking 1000 sq ft of office space at Chantry House in Coleshill, which provides it with more desk space and a new dedicated meeting area.

“The last twelve months has been fantastic for us as a business and we’ve seen no sign of our clients cutting or halting recruitment plans…If anything it has increased since the Brexit vote,” commented Michelle Davies, Managing Director of Candidate Source.

“We have continued to work with long-term clients Forces Recruitment Services, Kate & Co and Pertemps, whilst also adding new clients including First Future Recruitment and Lamb Personnel Solutions.”

She continued: “Our expertise in candidate attraction, media buying and content creation have proven extremely popular and demand for our ‘Employer Branded’ services are up 70%. Everything is pointing to continued growth over the next year.

“With this in mind, we decided to invest £25,000 into moving to larger offices, giving us more room for expansion, a more pleasant working environment and inviting training space.”

Candidate Source, which won the ‘Candidate Attraction’ title at the Recruitment International Supplier Awards, was set up by Michelle in 2010 after she spotted a gap in the marketplace for a resource that would provide job board support to recruitment firms across the UK.

In just seven years, the Black Country-born entrepreneur has built a strong client base that spans all sectors, including professional services, creative, engineering and transport.

Along with the office move, the firm has invested more than £30,000 on revamping its website (www.candidatesource.uk.com) and executing an exciting new marketing campaign aimed at highlighting the power of digital advertising

Michelle concluded: “As part of the expansion, we have just taken on two new account managers to help us offer an even better service to more customers. One of them is very experienced in the recruitment sector and will bring a lot to the ‘Candidate Source’ table.

“The other is a trainee with lots of potential. Growing the next generation of recruitment specialists is something we are really passionate about.”
