Digital Element partners with the Geolocation Technology Company
Leading IP geolocation and intelligence providers Digital Element and the Geolocation Technology Company have today announced a new partnership, designed to expand both companies’ IP geolocation services in Japan and globally.
Partnering on marketing and sales activities, the two companies are market leaders in their regions, with the Geolocation Technology Company pioneering the provision of IP intelligence in Japan, while Digital Element is a global leader in IP geolocation technology. The partnership will allow Digital Element to expand its reach in Japan and allow the Geolocation Technology Company to provide global IP geolocation services for its customers. These IP geolocation services enable companies to target online advertising, localise content, enhance analytics, and manage geographic licensing rights as well as detect and prevent fraud.
Founded in 1999, Digital Element is the industry pioneer of IP geolocation technology, and its NetAcuity technology has revolutionised the IP geolocation space. By combining IP routing infrastructure analysis with anonymous location insight gleaned from a network of global commercial partners, NetAcuity provides the most detailed dataset available worldwide today that maintains user anonymity and complies with the highest standards of end-user privacy.
“Since the establishment of the company in 2000, Geolocation Technology has been working to achieve its mission to provide market leading IP geolocation services to Japanese companies,’’ explained Keisuke Yamamoto, President and Representative Director of Geolocation Technology. “By partnering with Digital Element, a pioneer in IP geolocation technology in the US and across the globe, we are now able to sell an IP geolocation service, which has proven successful outside of Japan – a very exciting milestone for us. We are thrilled to be part of this collaboration, making IP geolocation more accessible to everyone, to further activate each region of Japan and to help connect all kinds of communities around the world.”
“Our business in the APAC region is growing at a rapid pace and we are keen to continue this,” commented Steve Sawyer, Vice President of International Strategy at Digital Element. “This partnership is a fantastic opportunity to further cement our place in the Japanese market and highlight the value of our highly accurate and granular IP data, providing global coverage to businesses in the region. We are delighted to partner with such a prominent company in Japan.”
