130 new jobs created at Darlington care provider
Care provider HC-One has announced the creation of 130 new jobs in its Darlington Support Office, following its recent agreement to acquire 122 Bupa care homes.
The business, which was founded in 2011, has said that the jobs will cover a variety of support roles as the acquisition will lead to the company becoming one the largest care providers in the UK.
The new Darlington-based roles will be key in supporting the organisation in reach further communities and older people across the country.
David Smith, HC-One’s CFO, said: “We are delighted to announce the creation of these 130 news jobs in Darlington, re-enforcing our commitment to the area and to expanding our position as an employer in the local economy at such an exciting time for HC-One.
