Digital design house announces new events calendar following their relocation to Platform
A Leeds-based analysis-led digital design house is announcing the release of its exciting new events calendar. £LightStart has hosted networking events with a digital focus in the Leeds city region since its early 2016 start-up, gaining a following to these regular meet-ups over the months.
Long-standing favourites include the Digital Coffee Morning, Digital Show’n’Tell and the NewBiz Freshers’ Fair. The team has just remodelled their lineup, adding some brand new entries such as Short Stories, Cereal Networking, Reverse Dragons’ Den and netWINEing.
All of the events are interactive, non-technical and informal, and typically feature appearances from local businesses who share their journeys and expertise with guests.
Simon Edwards, Co-Founder of LightStart, Simon Edwards said: “We’re all very excited to get settled into our new space and put into action some of the event ideas we’ve been planning. Our events have proved a success so far, so the launch of our new calendar for this quarter will hopefully entice even more attendees than ever before to join us for some relaxed networking.”
LightStart’s recent relocation means that almost all future events will take place at their new base, Platform. The freshly refurbished tower is a 120,000 sq ft, 13-storey Grade A office workspace on New Station Street, Leeds, that boasts a modern mezzanine level business lounge and roof terrace with impressive city views.
LightStart expanded into this state-of-the-art hub following a period of rapid growth and development, with plans to continue on this path. With a growing reputation across the city, they look forward to welcoming new clients and event attendees to their new location.
The company’s next event at Platform will be Remodelling Business – an event where the guests interactively take apart a business model and crowdsource a new and better way of doing things!
The theme this time is Health and Wellbeing in the workplace and will take place on Friday 20th October 2017 from 12.30-2pm, with free tea, coffee and sandwiches available to all guests. Free tickets for all of their events can be found by typing LightStart into Eventbrite or £via their website.
