Liverpool holidaymakers to decide new Blue Air routes at John Lennon Airport
Romanian airline Blue Air is calling on Liverpool holidaymakers to choose destinations for its next summer lineup.
The carrier is accepting suggestions for holiday hotspots to include in its 2018 flight programme at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA).
The campaign marks the second time Blue Air has collected local views on its operations in the region; in 2016, the company tasked travellers with designing livery for its UK-based aircraft.
For Bucharest-headquartered Blue Air, 2017 has so far been a year of expansion at LJLA.
Larnaca in Cyprus and Cluj in northwest Romania are among the new routes announced in recent months.
Elena Signorelli, the firm’s sales and marketing manager for North West England, said: “This is a great opportunity for us as to get to know the local people and to help Blue Air choose a new destination for next summer, which they could then win free flights to.
“We have said since day one that we want to be seen as the region’s airline, and there’s no better way to demonstrate this by asking passengers where they would like us to fly to next.”
Travellers can submit their destination request on the airline’s website.
