Maxweb responds to global changes in mobile and tablet technology as app development becomes 'increased priority' for businesses

Merseyside based digital marketing and design agency Maxweb has witnessed a significant increase in app development following recent announcements in the world technology market.

Following big announcements from global giants such as Apple, Samsung and Huawei, directors Liam Bailey and Mark Ainsworth say that local companies are becoming much more aware of the importance of their online presence and providing their services with the newest technology at the touch of a button on their mobile phone.

Throughout its decade in business, the firm, which has headquarters in Liverpool and Wirral, has experienced first-hand major advancements in the technology sector, with a 24/7 digital culture changing the way that conglomerates operate online, with demand exceeding traditional web design to now incorporate the use of apps.

Director Liam Bailey said: “There is a demand for businesses to work at a much faster and more fluid pace than ever before and this has influenced the way that Maxweb operates day to day. To contend with the latest tech trends, Maxweb has taken on 75% more app related projects in the last 12 months compared to the year before and we expect this figure to rise as businesses realise the potential impact that this software can have on customer engagement and revenue.

“One of our recent projects involved the creation of a tool that allows members of Unison to connect and share information quickly and effectively, using push notifications to alert the user to ensure that nothing is missed. The idea is that this technology will overtake more traditional methods of communication such as newsletters and emails that can be difficult to access on the go and often attract low levels of engagement.“

Established in 2006, Maxweb offers a complete service including graphic design, web design and mobile application development to name a few, having worked with a consortium of national and regional clients.

Director Mark Ainsworth said: “Businesses have more to think about when it comes to maintaining an online presence than ever before, adapting the way they work to contend with the latest IOS, Android and Windows software to ensure the optimum user experience. Companies and customers alike strive for easier and faster resolutions to their issues and, as a collective of app developers and digital marketers, the team at Maxweb look to create solutions that are streamlined and user friendly. With Apple focussing heavily on features such as Face Recognition in its latest product offerings, security is a paramount priority now and is always at the forefront of our consideration when building new tools and apps.

“We incorporate the latest technology into our day to day lives to get a real handle on its capabilities but it is our job to see the bigger picture and realise the potential for this technology to benefit a business ahead of the latest trends.“
