Colliers moves Liverpool operation following client wins
Real estate advisory firm Colliers International has chosen a new city centre base for its Liverpool operation.
Following a series of new contract wins, the company relocated its six-strong Liverpool team from India Buildings to a suite on the eighth floor of Walker House.
The 1,152 sq ft office, located at the Exchange Flags office complex in the business district, will be led by director Andy Delaney.
Colliers said clients of its Liverpool team include regeneration firm St Modwen, which is currently delivering a £150m scheme on Great Homer Street that will provide a new neighbourhood shopping centre.
Elsewhere, the firm’s Liverpool office is advising Kier Property and CTP on the £200m redevelopment of Pall Mall Exchange, which will deliver up to 400,000 sq ft of office space and a new hotel.
Colliers’ is also acting for developer Stoford on its one million sq ft Liverpool 57 logistics scheme and Liverpool City Council on its 100-acre Festival Gardens project.
Andy Delaney said: “We opened our Liverpool office in India Buildings in January 2015 to establish a physical presence for Colliers in the three Northern Powerhouse capitals of Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.
“We’ve expanded our team and outgrown that office following a substantial increase in our workload and look forward to strengthening our relationships with Liverpool’s most influential stakeholders from our new home at Exchange Flags, one of the most prestigious business addresses in the heart of the city.”
He added: “The decision to open in Liverpool has borne fruit and represents an integral part of our ongoing strategy to build our profile as a well-connected, specialist advisor to clients in key cities across the Northern Powerhouse region.”
