Nuffield Health Chester gets donations brewing for Macmillan Cancer Support

Nuffield Health, The Grosvenor Hospital in Chester has continued its support in the fight against cancer by holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September.

Staff donated tea and cakes as they took part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event, raising more than £134 for the cause.

The money raised for Macmillan Cancer Support will help to provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support for those effected by the disease, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. Alisa Rainey, Marketing and Business Development Lead at Nuffield Health Chester, said: “The staff at Nuffield Health Chester, The Grosvenor Hospital have done a brilliant job of not only bringing the hospital community together for this vital cause, but also raising awareness and funds for a fantastic charity. “There are 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer many who use Macmillan’s services so this event has the power to make a difference. “We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and participated in the coffee morning.”
