First look at £12m schemes delivering 100 new homes in Liverpool
Property brand Oriel Living has unveiled the first images of new homes being built in Liverpool for those struggling to get onto the property ladder.
Oriel, part of social enterprise First Ark Group, is delivering 100 properties in Halewood and Kirkby in a £12m joint venture with construction firm Seddon RDP.
The homes will be built across two developments, each of 50 properties available for shared ownership, outright sale and the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
The first, Mill Croft, will create countryside-style homes off Mill Lane in Kirkby. The Woodlands, located off Arncliffe Road in Halewood, is the second.
Both developments will comprise a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses along with two-bed bungalows.

Bob Taylor, chief exec of First Ark, said: “This is a big step towards our goal of increasing the supply of affordable housing in the North West and these images demonstrate the high-quality properties we are bringing to market.
“We have always had a very good relationship with Knowsley Council and that partnership working has allowed us to get to this point.”
Knowsley Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, Cllr Graham Morgan, said: “We are all looking forward to seeing these new homes completed.
“These developments support our vision of increasing the number and quality of homes in the borough and improving access to housing for our residents.”
He added: “We are committed to delivering a balanced housing offer which meets the needs of our residents and attracts new people to the borough.”
