David Wilson Homes ‘Wears It Pink’ in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Local, award-winning housebuilder, David Wilson Homes North East, has swapped the usual uniform for a shade of pink to show support for ‘Wear It Pink’ day on Friday 20th October.
The site and sales team at The Drive at Mount Oswald, Durham have donned bright pink hard hats and hi-vis jackets in order to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
One of the most notable charity campaigns of the year, thousands of people across the UK will wear pink in their communities, schools or work places to show their support of one of the UK’s largest breast cancer charities, Breast Cancer Now.
Christie Edge, Sales Manager at The Drive at Mount Oswald, commented: “We’re not only dedicated to our work, but we’re also committed to supporting a cause that is close to our hearts. The team loved getting involved and donning extra special hats and jackets for Wear it Pink, and we hope it encourages other people to get involved and donate funds to this important campaign.”
The Drive at Mount Oswald, priced from £259,995, boasts a range of luxury three and four bedroom properties surrounded by stunning countryside. Located only two miles from Durham’s historic city centre, the development is ideal for families.
