Manchester events equipment company signs ‘sizeable’ six-figure deal with Panasonic

Events equipment supplier company Sterling Event Group has signed a “sizeable” deal with electronics giant Panasonic.

The six-figure agreement, according to Manchester-based Sterling, will make it the first in the North West to offer the Japanese multi-national’s latest projector technology.

The firm has committed to Panasonic’s PT-RZ21K model, which will now replace older lamp-based products as its flagship projector.

Sterling works across a range of live events, from corporate and private to public and sporting.

To date this year, the company has invested £500k in its lighting equipment.

Richard Bowden, founder and MD at Sterling Event Group, said: “We are very passionate about making sure our clients receive the most up-to-date equipment to ensure their events are a real success.

“We will be the first in the North West to offer the RZ21K laser-based projector for hire, something I’m really proud of.”

He continued: “I am delighted to be extending our working-relationship with Panasonic. Their products have always been extremely reliable and given us and our clients, the results we strive for.

“This investment is a sizeable one for us, but will enable Sterling to open the door to projects where bigger, brighter projection is required.”

Panasonic project sales manager Tony Molloy commented: “We are delighted that Sterling has recognised the benefit that Panasonic’s laser projectors can bring to its customer base, giving them more freedom to concentrate on creating great events and less time worrying about the technology that is unpinning them.”
