CPP moves corporate centre to Leeds
CPP Group is a global provider of bespoke products and solutions; helping partners to drive ancillary revenues and deliver outstanding customer experiences. The company is focussed on new, innovative products, an energetic, collaborative working culture and excellence in client care.
CPP’s Corporate Centre, consisting of around 35 people, has now relocated to Leeds, while UK Operations and some corporate functions have remained at the existing Holgate Park site in York.
The ground-breaking, new CPP workplace in East Parade, Leeds has been designed, built and fitted by Yorkshire-based workplace interior specialists Ben Johnson Ltd and is symbolic of the progress the company is making.
“Moving the Group’s corporate centre to Leeds is an important step in our ongoing transformation programme. Being located in the city centre will give us all the benefits that Leeds can offer, from excellent access to talent in the marketplace to being in the middle of the fastest growing financial services and technology centre in the North of England.” says Jason Walsh, Chief Executive.
CPP People and Culture Director, Justine Shaw explains how significant the new workplace environment is in relation to the company’s ambitious plans for the future: “Our new workplace in East Parade, Leeds, totally embodies the spirit of the new CPP culture. Collaborating with Ben Johnson Interiors, we have created a modern environment that reflects our values through the use of nature and design to provide an innovative and collaborative space. The creative element supports the wellbeing of our people and will enable them to thrive in vibrant surroundings. I’m delighted with the end result…you can’t fail to be totally amazed from the minute you enter!”
Emma Dodsley from Ben Johnson Interiors explains the design concepts: “CPP wanted to create a vibrant and creative Corporate Centre where everyone would feel inspired in informal and collaborative surroundings.
“You enter the workplace to be greeted by a refreshment hub and a “living wall” moss map of the world showing all the CPP locations. There are other natural elements included in this workplace design such as real birch trees, rustic wood cladding and a central curved meeting pod. Bringing elements of nature into offices has been proven to be a crucial determinant of employees’ success and happiness in the workplace and CPP has embraced this with most attractive results.
“Informal meeting rooms are equipped with the latest technology for global linkups. If you need a quiet space or one to one meeting, high back sofa pods and quiet rooms are all available. Acoustic baffles are suspended over the open plan desking to absorb sound and carpet is used in the work areas.
“We’re thrilled to have been chosen to create this workplace for a company that are clearly moving forward with their growth plans and we’re delighted the client is so happy with it.”
