New regional sales manager strengthens JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions’ team in the North

JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions (VLS), the specialist leasing and fleet management division of independent Yorkshire-based motor firm JCT600, is continuing to extend its geographic reach with the appointment of James Mackintosh as regional sales manager covering the North East of England and Scotland.

James, who lives in Sunderland, has 15 years’ experience in the motor industry, most recently working as a business development manager for FMG in Sunderland. He has also worked as a regional manager for Car Benefit Solutions; as a regional fleet sales manager for Vertu Motors; and held various positions with Hyundai Motor UK.

In his new role, James will be responsible for maximising the growth of prospects for JCT600 VLS within the contract hire and fleet management marketplaces as well as seeking to retain and grow existing clients via account management and consultancy. James’ specialisms include automotive taxation, accident management, and fleet operations for manufacturers and large dealer groups.

James comments: “JCT600 VLS has established a great reputation as a smaller, high quality leasing and fleet management firm which provides a bespoke, personal service for SMEs. It’s a long-established family business with strong values and I’m looking forward to increasing awareness of its offering to businesses across the North East and Scotland.”

JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions is a stand-alone business within JCT600. It operates a fleet of 7,000 vehicles, predominantly serving SMEs, typically with fleets of 5-200 vehicles, supplying all brands of cars, vans and even mini buses throughout the UK from the South East to Scotland. Based at Apperley Bridge, it employs 45 staff.

With its head office in Bradford, the JCT600 group is a family business with 50 dealerships selling 18 of the world’s most respected brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW/MINI, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. The group now employs a workforce of 2,200 people.
