This cloud-based video server just partnered with avsnet - and here's why
avsnet has sold the UK’s first ever BlueJeans Rooms with Dolby Conference Phone.
BlueJeans Rooms, with Dolby Conference Phone, is to provide simple video meeting experiences that are said to enhance productivity and drive business forward. The customer responsible for the project is a leading mutual insurance company.
This is the latest development in a partnership between avsnet and BlueJeans. Both organisations are committed to providing incredibly intuitive collaboration experiences through avsnet’s knowledge of visual communications and BlueJeans’ video meetings.
Graham Fry, managing director at avsnet, said: “Companies are investing in collaboration across the workplace and businesses now recognise the vast benefits that huddle rooms provide.
“In fact, the BlueJeans Rooms with Dolby Conference Phone offers a unique opportunity to be used within any environment from a small huddle space right through to a large boardroom simply due to the flexible choice of camera.
“BlueJeans and Dolby’s latest solution delivers meeting experiences of the highest quality that enable people to collaborate in a more natural, flexible way.”
BlueJeans is said to offer meetings through Dolby Voice audio technology and its video platform. Dolby’s audio experience and quality supposedly enhances meetings, increases productivity and enables participants to hear and see each other with “near-perfect” clarity.
Nigel Tyler, director of EMEA Channels and Europe Enterprise at BlueJeans, added: “The BlueJeans Rooms with Dolby Conference Phone offering represents another major leap in collaboration and avsnet has proven that it is highly experienced in bringing new solutions to the market. We are excited for what the future holds and our partnership together.”
