This Grade II Georgian building is now up for sale in Crooms Hill

A Grade II listed Georgian property has gone up for sale in Crooms Hill through JLL.

The property comprises of 979 sq ft, valued at £700k, and will be sold via sealed bids. It faces Greenwich Royal Park, and is said to be a rarity on the market.

The property is an apartment on the first floor of this Georgian building, with direct views over the park. It has original features, although is said to require a complete modernisation to meet the needs of today’s health and safety standards and design.

Graham Lawes, director of residential agency at JLL, commented: “Crooms Hill is one of the most sought after addresses in Greenwich, and we get so excited when a property like this comes on to the market.

“We took the property on in mid-November and within the week we had four full asking price bids and cash offers on the table – which just goes to show that unique properties are still selling well.”

The property is said to be good for first-time buyers, couples or for families perhaps looking to downsize.

Crooms Hill is a short walk away from the Royal Observatory and the Planetarium, as well as the Maritime Museum and Greenwich Theatre. The boutiques, restaurants and markets of Greenwich are also within walking distance.
