Property auctioneers SDL prepare for biggest Manchester auction to date
SDL Auctions North West is preparing to hold its biggest ever auction in Manchester as it seeks buyers for over 50 lots.
The record auction, taking place at the AJ Bell Stadium next month, comes just months after the company expanded into the region with an auction in Bolton.
SDL’s next sale event, its third to date in the city, will feature properties from across the North West and Yorkshire, including sites in Bacup, Bolton, Barnsley, Blackpool, Halifax, Salford, Wigan and Stockport.
The lots available include a range of tenanted and vacant terraced properties in Manchester, along with six seaside flats in Morecambe and Fleetwood.
SDL Auctions North West senior valuer Andy Thompson, appointed earlier this year to spearhead the company’s regional arm, said: “It’s been a thrilling eight months that has quickly seen us becoming established as one of the main property auctioneers in the North West.
“And what a way for us to finish the year, with more than 50 lots that include properties from so many different towns and cities in the region, and with lots to suit all buyers.”
He added: “We are looking forward to what we expect will be a busy day in the auction room on 12 December, and we are already starting work on what we are planning to be an even busier year for SDL Auctions North West in 2018.”
