Yorkshire Bank signs up to Northern Powerhouse Partners Programme

CYBG, the owner of Yorkshire Bank, has signed up to the Government’s Northern Powerhouse Partners Programme.

The Bank made the announcement at CityUK’s National Conference, taking place in Manchester on 28th November.

Through its Yorkshire Bank business, CYBG is committed to working with the Government and local stakeholders to realize the Northern Powerhouse initiative.

This will build on the Bank’s commitment to offer £6bn of new lending to the UK’s SMEs over three years.

David Duffy, CEO at CYBG, said: “Delivery of the Northern Powerhouse initiative is critical to unlocking the potential of the North of England’s economics and we’re delighted to be signing up to the Government’s Partners Programme.
