Bentley Newcastle unveils new Continental GT
JCT600 Bentley Newcastle has celebrated the launch of the new Continental GT which arrived in the city on 24th November following its unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Bentley’s Silverlink Park dealership will showcase the new flagship models which come powered by a new 6.0-litre, W12 twin-turbo engine that first appeared in the Bentayga SUV, delivering 650hp and 900Nm of torque. This will bring with it a 0-62mph time of around 3.8 seconds, and a top speed in the region of 210mph.
Nik Boddy, brand manager at Bentley Newcastle, said: “This all-new, third generation Bentley Continental GT sports tourer has been designed to appeal to those seeking class-leading performance, handling and luxury. The Bentley GT coupé looks much sleeker than the heavily clad test versions that have been spied on the roads over the last few months, with several improvements made to boost performance. It brings together state-of-the-art technology with the quality and craftsmanship synonymous with the Bentley brand.
“The quintessential grand tourer, the new Continental GT is unmatched in its class – phenomenally powerful, beautifully designed and exquisitely crafted. We look forward to welcoming customers old and new to Bentley Newcastle to see this beautiful car for themselves.”
