Redsun completes 100,000 sq ft Wirral Power Station scheme

Redsun Developments has completed work on a 100,000 sq ft industrial scheme on the Wirral.

The Liverpool-based developer built eight units of between 5,000 sq ft and 16,000 sq ft on a five-acre site once home to power plant.

Known as The Power Station, the scheme is located at Wirral International Business Park in Bromborough.

Redsun said 75% of the available space has already been let or sold, including a letting to interactive kiosk maker Evoke Creative.

The Power Station is Redsun’s third large-scale scheme in Merseyside this year, following on from its Canada Dock Exchange project in Liverpool and Senate Business Park in Bootle.

Redsun director Craig Booton said: “This project took a while to get out of the ground, but it’s been a real success with some great companies locating to the development.

“Its further evidence that the demand is out there for a high quality product in the right location.”

He continued: “We’ve completed over 300,000 sq ft this year alone, with a further 90,000 sq ft under construction in Ellesmere Port and Knowsley.

“We are already making plans to bring forward further developments in 2018.”

The Power Station was supported with European Regional Development Funding.

Property firms Legat Owen and B8 Real Estate are the site’s agents.
