WOMBLE BOND DICKINSON'S EWEN MACGREGOR NAMED LICENSING LAWYER OF THE YEAR

Ewen Macgregor of law firm Womble Bond Dickinson has been named Licensing Lawyer of the Year UK at the Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards 2017.

The Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards recognise the achievements of law firms, lawyers, barristers and those connected to the legal world who have a proven track record in delivering results for their clients. The 2017 winners were announced following extensive research and feedback from clients and contacts.

Ewen Macgregor, who leads the firm’s national alcohol and gambling practice, was recognised for his expertise in advising a wide range of international, national and regional clients in the hospitality and leisure industry from hotel and bar operators through to off-sales retailers, cinemas, theatres, family entertainment centres and a range of gaming venues. Ewen is also a member of the Institute of Licensing and the Gambling Industry Lawyers’ Group and is Consultant Editor of Licensing Law Reports.

Womble Bond Dickinson launched on 1 November 2017 following the combination between UK-based Bond Dickinson and US-based Womble Carlyle. The combined firm employs over 1,000 lawyers from across 16 US offices and eight UK offices including London, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol, Plymouth and Southampton.
