North East development named among Britain’s best

Northumberland based developer, Countylife Homes, has received national recognition for its recently completed Brunton Square development, near Gosforth.

It was selected as one of the top three developments in the Premier Guarantee Small Development of the Year category. Chosen from over 70 sites reviewed across the UK, it was also the only North East based project to be shortlisted.

This is the third time the house builder has been recognised by Premier Guarantee. Its Castle Garth development, in Bamburgh, was a regional winner in the Conversion Project of the Year category in 2010, while the Seafield project at Seahouses was highly commended in 2013.

Mike Pattison, Managing Director with Countylife Homes, said: “After continuous local success and plaudits for our developments, we are delighted that our latest and ambitious Brunton Square project, has continued our record of impressing housing experts on a national level.

“We were thrilled to make the shortlist as the competition was extremely tough. To be the only development considered from the North East is testament to the quality of our build and all the hard work contributed by all of our employees and subcontractors. To then be selected as one of the best in the country really was the cherry on the cake.

“We are now focused on two new projects - Greystoke in Morpeth and Main Street in Newton Village - through which we will continue to raise the bar in terms of design and style and by demonstrating the highest standards of workmanship.”

Brunton Square is a development of just nine unique executive homes, located off Brunton Lane, close to Gosforth. All of the properties are generously proportioned and enjoy a quiet, countryside setting, yet are ideally located for local amenities and Newcastle City Centre.

All nine homes were either sold or reserved but one last property has unexpectedly returned to market. For more information or to arrange a viewing, contact Charlotte Woodcock at Countylife Homes.
