Local Business Donates Santa's Grotto To Raise Money For Two Amazing Charities
Westholme Timber Buildings, a local construction company, has welcomed the Christmas spirit by donating Santa’s Grotto to Tesco, in support of two leading charities.
For a recommended donation of £2, children can visit Santa at his new home in Tesco, Dragonville, with all proceeds raised being shared between the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.
Santa’s Grotto is open between 15.00 and 18.00 on Thursday 14th December and Friday 15th December, and from 10.00 – 18.00 on Saturday December 16th.
Ray Glasper, owner of Westholme Timber Buildings, said: “When I found out that Tesco was trying to raise money for two amazing charities, while doing something really special for local children, I was delighted to be able to get involved.
“The team designed and manufactured the Grotto to the highest standards, and now can’t wait to see the joy on the children’s faces as they get to meet the man himself!”
The company is also running a competition for a local family to win the Grotto and have it installed in their garden after Christmas. To find out how to enter simply visit Westholme Timber Buildings on Facebook and the Grotto, worth £500, could be yours.
