Soft toymaker Jellycat announces West London expansion
Soft toymaker Jellycat has revealed it is expanding its presence in the capital, leasing a new office at White City Place, West London.
Securing a deal with developers Stanhope and landowners AIMCo and Mitsui Fudosan, Jellycat has agreed to lease an 8,000 sq ft office space on the first floor of the WestWorks building.
Established in 1999, the business combines luxury fabrics with quirky designs to create cute soft toys for children.
Operating for the best part of two decades, the company supplies its products to retailers and department stores throughout the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and even as far as Australia.
In recognition of its success abroad, Jellycat received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise - the UK’s highest official accolades for business success.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “We are excited to be moving our head office to White City Place, as our company continues to grow both in the UK and internationally.
“The office space and amenities are what we have been looking for, and we look forward to moving in.”
David Camp, Chief Executive, Stanhope added: “We are delighted to confirm that Jellycat is moving its head office to the WestWorks building at White City Place.
“Along with other major brands like Yoox Net-A-Porter, the Royal College of Art, ITV and Huckletree this confirms White City as a destination of choice for some of the most exciting and vibrant businesses.”
