Suites Hotel & Spa reflects on a successful year in business

Suites Hotel & Spa is reflecting on an exciting year in business following a series of accolades for the North West venue.

Knowsley’s only four-star hotel is celebrating a string of business milestones and successes including a prestigious award wins, new senior appointments as well as the introduction of new signature treatments to its ‘Five Bubble’ spa.

Following a significant increase in turnover in 2017, Suites Hotel & Spa will continue to invest in the New Year with plans to begin a renovation project in January, with all Standard Suites undergoing a complete makeover.

Sales & Marketing Director at Suites Hotel & Spa Lyndsay Stanistreet-Tyer said: “The last 12 months have certainly been all systems go for Suites Hotel & Spa and it is so rewarding to look back on what we have achieved throughout the year. This year has been incredibly productive in terms of recruitment and we are very pleased to have welcomed new members on board including Operations Manager Neil Sinnott who has already made a huge impact on day to day operations and has influenced the strategic direction of the hotel overseeing all 98 suites, Handley’s Brasserie, Leisure Club, The Spa and the hotel’s meeting and events offering. Also joining us in 2017 was Leisure Club Manager Richard Sanderson, Restaurant & Bar Manager Lee Shrimpton and Head Receptionist Amy Hull who have all brought a catalogue of industry expertise with them to Suites Hotel & Spa. It really has been all hands-on deck for the entire team, whose continuous efforts have placed us as finalists for ‘Team of the Year’ at the Knowsley Business Awards 2017.

“What’s more, The Spa at Suites has once again been recognised as a ‘Five Bubble’ spa by The Good Spa Guide for the third consecutive year and also celebrated success at this year’s Merseyside Independent Business Awards, taking home the trophy for Best Health & Beauty Business. The reputation of the spa has been consistently outstanding throughout the region and this year we have introduced a number of new treatments including Hair and Makeup services ideal for a bridal party ahead of the big day or even a girl’s night out after an afternoon of pampering. Brides can enjoy fantastic packages including full wedding hair and makeup inclusive of a 60-minute trial, all of which can be paired with a refreshing cocktail or traditional afternoon tea at the Spa Bistro.”

In addition to its hotel, dining and spa facilities, Suites Hotel & Spa showcases an eclectic events programme and provides private venue hire, in particular wedding and corporate occasions. With the capacity to accommodate between 20-240 guests, the luxury venue has seen a number of brides and grooms tie the knot in the venue’s impressive Atrium in 2017.
