Small businesses set for boost as new TaxAssist Accountants office launches in Wibsey

TaxAssist Accountants has expanded in West Yorkshire with the launch of a new shopfront office in Wibsey, Bradford.

Kavan Tankard took over TaxAssist Accountants in Halifax in 2010, and now looks after more than 400 small businesses across the region.

In response to growing demand from existing small businesses and new businesses starting up in the area, Kavan, along with his wife Emma and team of five decided the time was right to expand with a second office opening in Wibsey.

Kavan explained: “With the business going from strength-to-strength in Halifax and a growing small business culture in and around Bradford, it seemed like the perfect time to look out for a new conveniently placed office on the outskirts of the city and the shopfront on Holroyd Hill seemed to be the ideal location.

“With a number of clients already based in and around Bradford and demand for our services continuing to grow, the new office gives us the opportunity to grow with it.”

Emma Tankard, who will manage TaxAssist Accountants in Wibsey, added: “We’re really looking forward to meeting current and new clients in and around Bradford and are delighted to welcome Danielle Holt to the business, we are confident she will be a real asset to the team and our clients.

“We’re planning to host an official office opening in the New Year to get to know our neighbours and other local small businesses.”
