North East retailer builds on 40 years' success with new Durham showroom
Pennine Home Improvements, a North East retailer, is to open a showroom in Durham city centre following 40 years of business.
The showroom will be situated at Dragonville Retail Park. It is said to become Pennine’s largest showroom yet, featuring seven conservatories and orangeries, and a virtual reality design studio.
Mark Tinnion, Pennine Home Improvements’ managing director, commented: “It is a really exciting time as we prepare for the next stage of our expansion plan and the launch of the new Durham showroom.
“It will give more customers from across the region the opportunity to see the quality of our products up close… The addition of the virtual reality station will also allow our customers to experience their desired living spaces, as part of our design process.”
The Durham site is Pennine’s fifth showroom in the North East. The business is to celebrate with a family launch event.
Tinnion continued: “To support our continued growth, we will also be expanding our team by creating a variety of new job opportunities in the region.”
Pennine is currently recruiting for various roles available.
