TUI adds to Manchester Airport programme with new Turkish services

Travel company TUI has announced an expansion of its services between Manchester Airport and Turkey.

The company, formerly known as Thomson, is giving its Manchester offering a boost with an additional weekly flight to the Turkish destinations of Antalya and Dalaman for Summer 2018.

The services, starting from May, will take North West holidaymakers to Antalya on Mondays and Dalaman on Sundays.

The expansion means TUI will operate five times per week to both destinations and follows the launch of new routes to Podgorica in Montenegro and Varna in Bulgaria.

TUI UK & Ireland’s director of aviation planning, Karen Switzer, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our programme from Manchester Airport for summer 2018.

“We have added an extra flight a week to both Antalya and Dalaman meaning we now fly 10 times a week to Turkey this summer. In total we have over 60 destinations for customers to choose from when booking their holidays from Manchester Airport.”

She added: “Holidaymakers in the North West will now have wider access than ever before to our diverse collection of destinations and hotel concepts.”

Manchester Airport commercial director Stephen Turner commented: “It’s great to see TUI adding extra flights to Turkey for Summer 18.

“We know Antalya and Dalaman are both hugely popular destinations with our passengers and the additional frequency will provide them with even greater choice for their summer holidays.”
