Alder Training appoints new Managing Director

A Liverpool based apprenticeship and traineeship provider has appointed Louise Harris as its new Managing Director.

Louise joins Alder Training following its acquisition by the Regenda Group last year, and brings a wealth of experience in housing, employment and skills to the post.

Starting her career at Knowsley Housing Trust in 1996, Louise held a number of roles before moving to Your Housing Group to take up the position of Director of Community Sustainability in 2013.

During her time at YHG, Louise worked with local communities to deliver regeneration projects around helping people into work.

Louise has also previously been actively involved in the skills agenda at a regional and national level after holding posts as Chair of the National Housing Federation’s Worklessness Group and Chair of Professional Development Board for the Chartered Institute of Housing from 2008-2010.

Louise Harris said: “I’m delighted to be appointed as the new MD of Alder Training.

“The Regenda Group has hugely ambitious plans for its training and apprenticeship offering, and I am excited to be at the forefront of this strategy.

“There is huge growth potential for Alder following its acquisition last year and I am looking forward to pushing forward in 2018.”

Liverpool based Alder Training has over 20 years’ experience in offering a range of high quality apprenticeships. The provider was acquired by the Regenda Group last year as part of its strategy to push into sectors closely aligned with its values.

Alder Training will work alongside the Group’s other subsidiaries, including M&Y Maintenance and Construction, Redwing Living, McDonald Property Rentals and Petrus Community.
